Dr Girish Juneja is a well-experienced Laparoscopic/Weight Loss Surgeon in Dubai & has a special interest in bariatric surgery. He is a Certified Surgeon of excellence for bariatric and metabolic surgery under IFSO (International Federation for the surgery of obesity and metabolic disorders (by European accreditation council-BC), having more than 30 yrs. experience in laparoscopic/ Endoscopic /General surgery & robotic surgery. He was the head of the Bariatric and surgery Department in many hospitals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (2014-2023) Expertise in all kinds of laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgeries, Upper GI & Gen. surgery. Dr. Girish is a Certified Surgeon of Excellence for Bariatric and Metabolic surgery by EAC-BS( European accreditation society for Bariatric surgery under IFSO( International Federation for the surgery of obesity and metabolic disorders). He had his basic laparoscopic training from Ninewells Medical College, Dundee, Scotland & UK. He has a diploma in minimal surgery from Strasbourg, France. He is a Fellow of ACE Bariatric Surgical Center, Emmen, Netherlands. He regularly attends conferences and workshops in different countries to update his skills.
