Introduction

Nursing associated curriculum can be considered as a framework, which offers a benchmark for every provider in order to deliver the training programmers (Glasper, 2017). In addition, this can be revealed that it equip the nursing associates with the breadth of skills along with professional competence. This is very useful as it support those nurses, who are registered along with the other professionals for delivering high quality care in both present and future. The development of the nursing associate can be considered as one of the landmark innovation for the professionals in healthcare sector (Weber and Farrell, 2016). Introduction to this new job role has been started with the help of a wide range of stakeholders in health and social care. The associate of nursing can play also a key part of the multi-disciplinary workforce, which is required for responding to the future requirements of patients and public. This essay has been developed based on a self-appraisal, learning agreement and personal development plan. In this regard, it can be revealed that there are eight domain in the Nursing associated curriculum framework, Health Education England, 2017. This essay will be prioritized on three domains among all eight domains. This essay will be described about domain 2, 3 and 4. Those are domain 2 person-centered approaches, domain 3 delivering care and domain 4, communication and interpersonal skills. This is a reflective essay and it can be revealed that this will demonstrate the nursing associate role and requirement.           

Discussion

Nursing can be considered as a profession within the healthcare sector, which prioritized on the care of individuals, communities and families. Based on the opinion of Goode et al. (2016), it can be revealed that they can attain, maintain and recover the optimal health plus quality of life. I am able to realize that there are several roles and responsibilities, which need to be maintained by every nurse. A nurse can follow all of those nursing roles. In this case, it has been found that record medical histories along with symptoms are the prime responsibilities for nurses.

This has been found that domain 2 is all about person-centered approach to care. Based on the opinion of Harrison (2016), this domain explains the fundamentals of nurses, what are the prime responsibilities that a nurse needs to be followed. In this regard, I have developed that before telling the roles of nurses, a nurse needs to gain knowledge on nursing associated curriculum and I am able to gain knowledge. Based on the opinion of Hawks et al. (2016), it can be considered as a framework, which provides a benchmark for each provider in order to bring the training programmers. I have developed that the growth of the nursing associate can be revealed as one of the landmark innovation for the professionals in healthcare sector. Introduction to this new job role has been started with the help of a wide range of stakeholders in health and social care. I am able to follow all of the roles of a nurse. A nurse needs to be thought that he or she can do follow all of these responsibilities. In addition, based on the opinion of Goode et al. (2016), this equips the nursing associates with the breadth of skills along with professional capability. I am able to increase his or her skills with the assistance of these training programs. It is very useful as it support those nurses, who are registered along with the other professionals for bringing high quality care in both present and future. In context of the nurses’ responsibilities, it can be revealed that the prime responsibilities of the nurses are to take care the patients and assist them to recover very quickly his or her health (Goode et al., 2016). A nurse can think in this regard that responsibility of the doctor is to identify the main reason, which is the cause of health deterioration for a patient and clear out the process or medicines, which are needed to be followed for fast recovery. On the other hand, I am able to take the responsibilities like supervision of medicine timing, prioritizing on the health of the patients etc. Apart from that there are few more roles of a nurse and those are collaborative with the team and advocate for the wellbeing and health of patient. In this regard, I am able to collaborate with the team and collaborative with the team is very much significant as this helps to develop new plans for caring the patients. A nurse should be thought that he or she can develop new plans for caring the patients.

As per the domain 3 delivering care can be revealed as another domain and this is useful for trainee nurse. In addition, I am able to monitoring the health of the patients and looking on the area like how fast he or she is recovering his medical health. Nurses take the responsibilities like managing medication along with treatments. This has been found that I am able to play a major role in order to operate all the medical equipments, which is needed to instruct by the doctor for the checkup of patients. Checking up the patients regularly and provide the feedback to the doctor is a highly beneficial role for a nurse and I am able to play this role. Moreover, nurses take the role of performing diagnostic tests (Hawks et al., 2016). In this regarded, this has been found that it is one of the most useful role for the nurses. The main reasons behind it diagnostic tests is helpful for identify the main reasons, which deteriorates the health of the patients. Based on the opinion of Harrison (2016), nurses also take the responsibilities of train the junior nurses and the fresher regarding how to contract with the illness in home. I am able to train them as well about which medicine they should be recommended and when based on the doctors’ instruction. Based on the opinion of Hawks et al. (2016), the main aim of delivering care is to support the provision of the high quality that can be considered as effective along with safe in the setting of hospital and community. With the help of the improvement of a framework, I will be able to identify the range of staffing for the nursing very easily. Based on the opinion of Goode et al. (2016), a nurse can take the responsibilities of train the patients and their families regarding how to deal with the illness in home. I am able to guide them also about which medicine they have to take and when based on the doctors’ instruction.

Domain 4, interpersonal skills and communication can be considered as one of the main domains. By following different fundamental of nursing this can be found that there are few aspects. In addition, I have developed that monitoring the health of the patients and looking on the area like how fast he or she is recovering his medical health is very important. It also encompasses skills along with attributes, which associated with the emotional intelligence.      

Conclusion

Based on the above discussion, this can conclude that Nursing can be considered as a profession within the healthcare sector, which prioritized on the care of individuals, communities and families. Therefore, this can be concluded that they can attain, maintain and recover the optimal health plus quality of life.
