Q3.    Identify three (3) types of technology that could be used in the healthcare environment to assist you with scheduling tasks and planning work.

Q4.    Identify three different types of feedback and how you can ask for this feedback.  You need to discuss at least three (3) things you need to consider when receiving feedback? (min 50 words)

The three types of feedback are -

Evaluation feedback: It can be understood by evaluating the services provided to the clients during the visit and the room for improvement.

Appreciation feedback - It can be understood by the behaviour and gesture of the client while greeting them and it will conclude the level of hospitality received.

Coaching Feedback - it can be understood with the communication of in charge regarding where the improvement can be done.

Q5.    During your shift, you are assisting a client in the shower when you hear the emergency buzzer. Discuss what actions you would take and provide a rationale. (min 100 words).

While assisting the client with the tap in the washroom, the sound of the emergency buzzer was audible. The situation led to the client to understand the purpose and ask to leave the room immediately because the cause of the buzzer was unknown. The right information for the buzzer should be scrutinised to understand the importance of the emergency and evacuation methods should be executed through the emergency exits. The emergency first aid should be provided for the injured individual so that nobody is at risk. A proper rescue method should be implemented to safeguard the life of the people ("What is an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)?", 2020).

Q6.    You work in an aged care facility and your colleague calls in sick for work one morning. Another colleague can come into work to cover her but is not able to start until 1000.

Discuss three ways in which you could achieve work objectives, considering you have one less staff member for the morning. (min 100 words).

Plan out the work - The absence of the other colleague will lead to temporarily supporting his or her work till the backup arrives. There should be a proper plan out of the works that are to be performed so that none is missed.

Time Frame for the task - There should be a proper time frame of the tasks which are to carry out. Inclusion of time frame will set a goal for carrying out the task on time ("Making Sure Your Employees Succeed", 2020).

 Attentiveness - There should be full attention in the work which is to be performed. It will increase the efficiency and quality of the work.

Q7.    Identify at least three (3) professional development options and explain how each would enhance your skills, knowledge or experience. (min 100 words).

Examine the decision - There should be a proper evaluation of the past activities conducted. A proper tracking should exist which will inbuild the leadership qualities. It will improve the areas that are lacking.

Attend training - Attending the training will eventually help in gathering new skill sets and knowledge about the new technologies invented. It will help to gather proper experience and execute the work in any circumstances.

Read and Write regularly - The skill to read and write regularly will improve the knowledge aspects of a person and by writing them will improve the critical thinking skills. This will add up to the knowledge base of the person ("10 Ways to Maximize Your Professional Development", 2020).

Q8.    Identify 1 mandatory standards that you will need to evidence to maintain your AHPRA registration and provide an assessment of your knowledge and skills with 2 examples of how you  will meet this standard. (min 100 words).

One of the standard procedures to maintain the AHPRA registration is to have a registration standard for the English language skills. To be parallel with the standard there should be the proper execution of English language skills to be carried out. To improve the standard weekly or monthly modules should be issued to check the level of the English standard. Proper training to improve the language should be the major focus. Online examination and other guidelines are always available which can be considered for the betterment of the situation. Therefore, a regular interval of scrutiny of the purpose will be maintained to meet the standard ("Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Overseas qualified practitioners", 2020).
