Literature Review

This part of the research paper builds the theoreticalframeworks for the study using various literature which are relevant to this topic. According to the discussions of Ruhanen et al. (2015), there are some general factors which influence a person to go on vacation. The factors are the economy, environment, cultural or historical importance, research importance, religious importance, technology and so on. The factors can be classified into two categories such as the pull factor as well as the push factor. The tourism destinations usually have the pull factors for attracting people to those destinations which may be either natural or artificial. For example, outstanding scenery, pleasant climate, entertainment, festivals and events, sea beaches, mount climbing and others can be considered as the pull factors.

Abascal et al. (2015) have mentioned the fact in a research paper that the factors which motivate a person to go for a trip are known as push factors. Some examples of the push factors are relaxation, enhancing relation, knowledge gain, escaping from daily life and so on.On the other hand, as discussed by Amelung& Nicholls(2014), Australian tourism should invest a lot of capital if they want to boost up this tourism industry. The tourism business of this country has rapidly increased in the last few years, but at the same time, it has faced some problems also. Most of the difficulties are associated with the lack of proper infrastructure as well as trained and skilled people for this business. According to the literature of Athanasopoulos et al. (2014), this fact is evident that if this nation wants to maximize their benefits from this tourism industry, they have to address these two significant issues.
